OnSite Training FAQs

How does on-site training work?

Training can consist of one course or a training program incorporating multiple courses. Each course can be delivered in its standard format or, alternatively, it can be customised by combining selected content. You can even combine components from a number of courses and different levels together.

What courses can you deliver onsite?

Infero Training can deliver almost any course onsite. This includes onsite training for any Business Courses including Time Management, Leadership, Project Management, ITIL, PRINCE2; Desktop applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project or Access, as well as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign; technical training including MS Servers, VMware, Cisco, Novell, or something else.

What's the typical class size?

No matter what size group you need to train, we’ll develop a solution that fits your needs perfectly.

What equipment / facilities do we need?

The only requirement is that you have a room big enough to comfortably accommodate the delegates. For technical training you will need hardware; however you do not have the necessary equipment, we can provide laptops, projectors and flip charts for you. Our standard laptop hire charges would then apply.

Does the instructor set up the class hardware?

If we provide the hardware for a training, it will be preloaded with the appropriate software and course files. If you prefer to use your own equipment then we will send you set-up instructions in advance; unless agreed otherwise.

Where can we train?

We can train anywhere in the UK and Ireland. The cost of travel and accommodation might be applied. If that is the case we will agree these costs prior to you purchasing your training.

How does Infero prepare its instructors?

Our instructors are experts in the subject matter they teach, and are certified in their chosen product or technology area. In addition, our trainers must annually go through a rigorous process to further develop their teaching skills, a process which includes supervised practice teaching via train the trainer programme.

How soon can we arrange Onsite Training?

We do not run a fixed schedule of dates for Onsite Training. Express your preference of the dates or time periods during which you would like to run your onsite training course, and our accounts managers will contact you to finalise the booking.

How much does Onsite Training cost?

Your onsite training course will be charged at our standard day rates and will be calculated based on the number of attendees. The fee for on site will vary depending on class size, duration and complexity of the course required.
The cost of travel and accommodation might be applied. If that is the case we will agree these costs before you purchase the training.

Can our Onsite Training be tailored?

Of course! This is what makes us different to most other onsite training companies. We even provide a free Training Needs Analysis to establish your current and required level of onsite training. All of this at no extra charge!

Would it be possible to work on our own data?

If you prefer to use your own data, we can accommodate this. We will need to agree and view your data prior to the course to ensure we understand your needs.

How do I book Onsite Training?

Simply contact us with your request. We will then agree a date, a location and the appropriate course and level with you.

Do I need any equipment for the Live Virtual courses?

For Microsoft Office courses you would need a computer with full version of the software you are training in. We also strongly recommend having access to a second screen for the training. This will allow you to do the exercises on your primary laptop or computer and see the virtual whiteboard on a secondary device. That device can be anything from a separate computer screen, to something like a tablet or phone.
